For Chef Eugene, his interest in cooking was first sparked and inspired by his mother who was (and is) the best cook he has ever known. Her passion for cooking and preparing filled-with-love meals for others has greatly influenced Chef Eugene, leading to him discovering his ambition of becoming a chef.
Chef Eugene has always wanted to be like his mother, to share his specialty dishes with his loved ones. That’s how he finds the bliss in cooking – by watching people happily enjoy his food. After graduating from Polytechnic, he decided to be a food entrepreneur and travel around the world to explore the best seafood for 2 years. He has a dream to receive recognition for his dedication and passion towards the culinary arts of “The Best Seafood in Singapore”.
Chef Eugene, putting together bits and pieces of his childhood memories of watching his mom’s cook, eventually tried to recreate the flavors he longed for. Now that he has successfully created a special mala crab, he shares it with the world in hopes that the mala crab could provide happiness to them as it does to him.
